中文摘要A variable gain amplifier (VGA) working at intermediate frequency (IF) for wireless receiver is presented. It consists of an operational amplifier (op-amp) and resistor feedback networks. The distortion of close loop amplifier is analyzed. It reduces the distortion of large output signals mainly by improving the linearity of output impedance. The fully differential VGA is designed in Korean Dongbu 0.25 mu m CMOS technology. The power supply is 3.3V. While the differential output is 2V , the distortion is less than ~80dB, the power consumption is 3mW.
