中文摘要	种群监测对于濒危物种保护具有重要意义。长臂猿科Hylobatidae所有物种均是国家Ⅰ级重点保护野生动物,也是我国唯一分布的类人猿种类。本文基于近年来开展的长臂猿种群监测和调查,建立监测工作的时间线图,回顾了目前受到关注的4种长臂猿监测工作的开展、持续时间及其保护成效,分析了科研工作对于长臂猿保护的重要辅助作用,为未来长臂猿监测工作的开展提出了具体建议.
英文摘要	Population monitoring is important for the conservation of endangered wild animal species. Gibbons (Hylobatidae)，a class Ⅰ national key protected species， are the only apes distributed in China. Based on the current population mo- nitoring and investigation of gibbon， we created the timeline of monitoring work and reviewed the development， duration time and protection effect on 4 gibbon species，analyzed the role of scientific research in the gibbon conservation projects，and put forward some concrete measures for future gibbon monitoring work.
