英文摘要Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative joint disorder that affects a large proportion of the population, particularly in elderly people. Epidemiological studies have revealed that over 70% of people aged 65 years or older suffer from OA with the knee joint being most commonly affected。The precise etiology of knee OA structural degeneration remains highly controversial and there is no known effective treatment. Due to the known and suggested effects of neuropeptide Y (NPY) and hexadecenoic acid (HA), we have sought to investigate the relationship between the concentration of NPY and HA in synovial fluid of knee and the structural severity of knee OA.
