英文摘要 | Retinal prosthesis devices aim to restore impaired vision function through electrically stimulating the retinal cells (ganglion, bipolar cells, etc.), which benefit the patients with visual dysfunction due to inherited retinal degenerations (RDs) like retinitis pigmentosa (RP) or age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Therefore, as a key component, implantable microelectrodes for stimulation have been extensively developed by some groups [1, 2]. To ensure long-time effective stimulation, microelectrodes must fulfill several very stringent requirements such as a miniaturized geometry, excellent flexibility, long-term stability, biocompatibility and good electrochemical performances. |
