英文摘要Influence maximization is the problem of finding a small set of users in a social network so that their expected spread of influence can be maximized. Most of the heuristics proposed are based on the topological structure of the social network, turning a blind eye to the past propagation history. In this paper, we study the influence maximization problem harnessing the past propagation data. More specifically, we proposed a new method of selecting seed nodes called condition table (CT) method, which picks seeds directly from a table we construct from past available propagation traces. In particular, while being orders of magnitude faster than all other traditional approaches, our method is among the best approaches with respect to the quality of seed set chosen.
