中文摘要铈离子掺杂的高温闪烁晶体具有高光输出快衰减等闪烁特征,是无机闪烁晶体的一个重要发展方向。Ce:YAP和Ce:YAG高温闪烁晶体具有良好的物化性能是无机闪烁晶体中较有优势的晶体,在中低能量粒子射线探测方面有很大的应用前景。随着应用需求的变化,对闪烁晶体尺寸的要求也在不断提高,生长大尺寸的闪烁晶体变得日益重要。同时由于国内目前生长的Ce:YAP晶体长期存在自吸收问题,光产额一直无法有效提高,因此解决自吸收问题,生长大尺寸的Ce:YAP晶体对闪烁材料的研究和应用具有重要意义。由于温梯法在生长大尺寸晶体上存在优势,用温梯法生长大尺寸Ce:YAG晶体,并通过改进后期退火工艺,有望获得大尺寸高性能的Ce:YAG晶体。围绕大尺寸Ce:YAP晶体的提拉法生长及其自吸收问题,以及大尺寸Ce:YAG晶体的温梯法生长和退火研究,本论文主要开展了以下几项工作。
英文摘要Cerium doped high-temperature scintillating crystals are kinds of scintillators with high light yield and fast decay time, which significantly orient the development of inorganic scintillation materials. Besides, Ce:YAP and Ce:YAG crystals have the advantages of good physical and chemiscial properties, which make them the promising materials especially for middle-low energy ray detecting. With the development of application requriements, it becomes important to improve the size of the scintillation crystals. Howerer, Ce:YAP crystals grown in domestic have the problem of self-absorption, which affects the light yields of Ce:YAP very seriously. Therefore, understanding the specific mechanism of self-absorption and growing large-sized Ce:YAP crystals are important to the research work and application of scitinllation materials. Since it is much easier to get large-sized crystals by emperature gradient techniques, we purpose to grow large-sized Ce:YAG by temperature gradient technique (TGT) and improve the luminescence properties by studying the annealing conditions. In this paper, large-sized Ce:YAP and Ce:YAG crystals are investigated as follows:
